If we decide to utilize G & A’s services what is the worst case scenario?
The worst case scenario is that we find no additional tax credits. During the exit briefing, we would tell you
that the individual that is managing your books is doing a sensational job. We would advise you to continue
to maintain your process. At this point our contract would be considered fulfilled and no payment would be
required
Has G & A ever encountered a worst case scenario
In 14 years of business, G & A has never encountered a worst case scenario?
Scenario:
XYZ Firm all ready conducted an audit resulting in a refund of $30,000.
How much more does G & A expect to recover on a follow up audit? -On a follow up reverse audit, based
on historical data, we recover an additional 1,500%-2,000%.
How come the XYZ firm did not find all of these tax credits the first time?
Other firms normally send a junior auditor that operates off of a checklist of predetermined items. These
firms often “cherry pick” or target high dollar items in order to minimize the amount of time spent
conducting the audit. Often, thousands of dollars in tax credits are overlooked on the belief that “it just is not
worth my time or it just is not cost effective”. When G & A conducts an audit, you can be assured that you
will have one of the two owners actually review all of your invoices.
How is G & A able to operate at such a reduced commission?
Because we find all of the tax credits you are entitled to, the end state is a number that is significantly larger
(Historically 1,500% - 2,000%).
What are the benefits of conducting a reverse audit once every year?
1) This provides an accurate assessment of the previous year’s operations with
regards to sales tax.
2) This also allows your company to recapture overpaid tax dollars and make them available for current
operations on an annual basis (Some companies choose to conduct a reverse audit once every four years).
If our company is scheduled to receive a refund, when is payment due to G & A?
Payment to G & A is due once payment from the state is received.
Where does G & A normally conduct the audit?
If you have accommodations we can conduct the audit on site or other arrangements can be made.
Approximately how long will it take to conduct the audit?
-Depending on the volume of records, most audits are completed between one and seven days.
If our company decides to utilize the services of G & A, how much of my time will be needed?
-Once we receive the documents and authorization ,very little if any of your time will be needed.
What exactly will you need to get started?
-We need three things before we can get started:
1) A signed contract.
2) Power of Attorney (POA).
3) Access to your company records.
Typically, the contract is signed by an authorized individual from the business unit and then the POA follows from the corporate office.
